Cetrella montesolaro

Casa Rossa

Former residence of Colonel John Clay H. Mackowen located in the center of Anacapri offers a rich selection of archaeological artifacts from the island and the “painted island” collection, a collection of works by painters who stayed in Capri between the late 19th century and the early 20th century.

Villa San Michele

Just behind the hotel, there is what used to be the home of the Swedish doctor Axel Munthe, lover and collector of artifacts and archaeological discoveries, today, it is a museum full of findings of Egyptian and Etruscan Roman art surrounded by a charming garden with native flora.
